we got no tax cuts. we're kicking the can down the road, and unless these people really start to get serious about this, we are going to be talking about this for the whole next four years and the country is only going to get worse and basically that's it. both parties have either got to come to the table and they have got to make meaningful cuts and get meaningful revenue to get out of this problem. thank you. host: and that will be it as far as calls for this segment. let me tell you what's coming up in the program. you have been watching the white house. this week president obama as part of his proposal on gun violence had a study on violent video games and cheryl olson the author of "grand theft childhood." later john lott will join us. he is the author of "more guns, less crime." he will be on to talk about the president's proposal to reduce gun violence. all throughout the district of columbia we have our c-span photographers out there taking in photos and event it's leading up to the inauguration.
